Onway Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and your right to data protection. Below is information about how Onway Oy and its authorized partners collect and process your personal data, as well as your rights regarding the processing of your personal data. We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Collection of Personal Data
We process personal data obtained from Onway’s websites and online services, as well as through interactions with our customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
We may collect personal data through our website to provide visitors with a better user experience, improve contact management and maintenance, and facilitate service-related communications.
Personal data may also be collected through surveys and research activities. Additionally, we may collect your personal data when you subscribe to our marketing emails, purchase or use our services, or otherwise interact with us. We use a customer relationship management database to manage and monitor our sales and marketing activities.
Collected Personal Data and Its Use
Onway and its authorized partners may process personal data such as your name, title, company, email address, physical address, phone number, education, username, billing details, or other similar information for the following purposes:
The processing of your personal data may be based on a contractual relationship, a legal obligation, your consent, or our legitimate interest in conducting and maintaining our business effectively.
Data Security and Retention
A) Manual Data
Written reports and summaries are stored in locked office premises. Written materials are destroyed using a reliable document destruction or data protection service (e.g., L&T).
B) Electronically Processed Data
Access to data and recordings stored in research systems is restricted using username- and password-based protections. Electronically stored data is retained in systems secured by firewalls.
Access to personal data is limited to individuals (Onway employees and authorized partners) who require access to perform tasks and fulfill their duties related to their role at Onway.
Onway retains personal data as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, within the limits of applicable laws and regulations.
Sharing of Information and International Transfers
We also use external service providers who may have access to personal data as part of the technical, maintenance, user analysis, research, statistical, and marketing services they provide to Onway.
Third parties may only process your personal data to the extent necessary to provide the services requested by us. When data processing is outsourced to carefully selected third-party service providers (e.g., IT service providers, marketing service companies, consultants), they act as data processors on behalf of Onway under a specific data processing agreement and in accordance with Onway’s instructions.
Appropriate data processing agreements ensure that personal data is processed legally and in accordance with Onway’s instructions.
We may also transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, such as the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the EU or EEA, Onway uses appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Access to Personal Data and Other Rights
You have the right to access and correct your personal data and request its deletion. You may also request to restrict the processing of your personal data and object to it if it could compromise your privacy rights. All related requests must be made in writing to Onway.
